Singer/songwriter Karl Stephen Brunig releases new CD
Signs deal with Christian music distributor, Integra GP
“Distant Thunder” is Karl Stephen Brunig's second musical offering in the Gospel/Blues/Americana genre. A resident of Houston, Texas, Karl’s songs continues to reflect the rich, Bluesy musical textures of the Texas Gulf Coast. This time, his music reflects the fast approaching storm of change we are beginning to experience in our world. The title song, "Distant Thunder" was inspired by a dream which was both disturbing and hopeful. Also notable, is “I’ll Fly Away,” the classic Gospel number cooked up as a funky duet with New York soprano Laurie Potter and “I’m Livin’ My Best Life Now,” inspired by Pastor Joel Osteen’s best selling book.
Less than 30 days after the album hit the streets, Karl signed a two year distribution deal with Christian bookstore music provider Integra GP of Antioch, TN.
“Distant Thunder” will soon be available through their kiosk-based “myMEDIA Burn Bar” in-store CD burning and Mp3 download system, in over 650 Christian bookstores.
